| The QCTA
is moving forward with the development of a Hall of Fame, Museum,
and Library. The main aim is to store, protect, and display material
relevant to the history of our sport, and recognize the outstanding
performers we have had since inception.
The success of this proposal
hinges on persons currently holding old records, memorabilia, trophies,
etc being prepared to donate them to the Association for perpetual
display and protection.
Items of interest are:
Old club
records
Legal documents
Photographs
ACTA registration cards
Early to current CTSN magazines
Badges, sashes, etc.
We are also chasing any
old hand operated (pre Damo) clay target throwers ie: Snipe or Plus.
These will be restored and displayed. Also old targets eg. "Blue
Dot" or "Bronze Wing". In fact anything relevant will be considered.
It is intended to open
the Hall of Fame during the Nationals at Roma in March 2009.
